Sending Blue Collar Lacrosse a Head for Stringing

Marc Mesh was born out of Marc Leveille’s passion for stringing sticks!  Marc and Joel currently string more sticks for Pros, both indoor and out, than any other stringers in the cosmos!  Find out why NCAA programs send their entire team’s stick heads to be strung with what the Lacrosse world refers to as the “Blue Collar Pocket”. 

To send a stick head to Blue Collar Lacrosse for stringing please use the following as a guide. USA customers please pay additional attention to the shipping instructions.

Payment (Check only; DO NOT SEND CASH)

To determine your cost, go to click on the tab 'Online Store' and decide what type of mesh you would like.  Choose from white, 1 color, 2 color, ARMY or the Camo Marc Mesh available; this will be the cost for materials.  For example, if you want a stick strung with a white MM, as a player you would include $31.75; goalies $42.50.  If you wanted an ARMY MM the cost for player is $49; goalie $65.  Colored SideWalls are an additional $1.50 per color.

Take the amount of the MM Kit chosen (for our example, we will use a player white MM); add the cost of stringing, shipping and handling. The cost of stringing for player head is $28; goalie $35.  The cost of shipping and handling for a player head is $15; goalie $19 (only pay shipping once regardless of the number of heads sent). Hence a player wanting a head strung with white MM would add $31.75 for the cost of materials, $28 for the cost of stringing and $15 for shipping and handling; for a total of $74.75. If you are a Canadian customer make sure you include your provincial taxes; there is NO TAXES on heads sent from the United States.

How to Send the Head - Tagging and Shipping

To ship BCLaX the head, bubble wrap envelopes are fine; something like a cereal box for a player head is perfect.  Include with the head a written description of what you want for MM and SideWalls, what you like your stick to do; and not do.  Include the position that you play and (most important) an e-mail address that you can be reached at.  Be sure to attach this information to your head with a zip tie or string.  Place the tagged stick into the box along with your check and ship it to the following address: Blue Collar Lacrosse, 1151 South Service Rd. (UNIT 5b), Oakville, Ontario. L6L 6K4.

Be sure to send the head or heads without the shaft attached, we will simply be forced to not accept the package if you do.  Leave your previous mesh in the head if you would like us to mimic the current stringing; with the Leveille recommended improvements of course. Remember to leave an e-mail address just in case we have questions for you.

United States residents, please follow the next steps carefully as you will avoid paying any duties or taxes from Customs. When filling out customs form 1st, do not exceed writing an amount greater than $85 (any amount $100 or greater will be taxed automatically).  2nd, write in big capital letters “REPAIR AND RETURN” (handwork such as this is covered under the NAFTA free-trade agreement) on most customs forms there is often a box provided for this service.  If you forget to do this and your package is charged duties, we will require you to pay the difference via credit card; if Customs does charge you it's normally less than $20.  Be sure to follow these instructions and avoid using packaging excessively bigger than the product you are sending and you will not have a problem.

Time and Travel

All heads will be strung and sent back in the mail within 7 business days of receiving the package; we ship UPS, so allow for a 2 to 5 day travel time. We do not ship Heads overnight. Add 5 days for heads sent in season; December to August.

Please keep in mind that we do have strung Torques by Gait (NFHS legal) available on our website; this is the quickest way to receive a strung head from Blue Collar. We also have white Torques that are NCAA legal; simply let us know in the space allotted for Customer Comments.
